Barbours Dumfries
After completing works to the ladies’ fashion department for Barbours Dumfries a few years back, we were commissioned to design and fit out their Menswear formal and Young Fashion areas, giving both departments a different concept ambience.
Young Fashion was designed with the idea of creating a ‘Street’ feel. This effect was created using solid timber cladding to the walls and columns, concrete effect coverings running up the sides of walls and onto the ceiling in designated areas, together with mild steel hanging rails and freestanding perimeter bays. The industrial look was further enhanced with secondary layers of ‘Graffiti’ graphics and bright orange fitting rooms.
Menswear formal was designed with a more traditional approach, using a palette of dark grey edging detail and soft white perimeter panels.
